An early 19th century Regency 'Palmer Patent Ejector' candle lamp of exceptional size, the crisply cast lonic capital over a plain column (which would have concealed a very large (and very expensive) sprung loaded candle, supported on a square stepped pedestal base. In untouched condition, having never been converted for electricity, bearing the Royal supplier's crest and retaining the carrier for a glass shade.
